For Creating Partion Master, First we have to understand about Partition.
Partition is a collection of pallets on a rack, it specifies that a particular XYZ item is kept in XYZ location, on XYZ rack and has XYZ number of pallet.
According to our warehouse structure 1 pallet is kept on 1 partition.
Go to Master and Select Warehouse then Select Partition master as below shown in picture.
Now Enter the basic details while create New Partition Master.
- Select Warehouse and also Select respectively Location and Select Rack then Enter the Partition Name.
- Now select Preffered Items and Enter the No. of Pallet then Click Save button and Save details.
Now Report for Partition Master see below Image.
Go to Master and select Warehouse master and Select Partition Master then Click Details Button and select warehouse name then select location selection of Rack is optional now click on getdata as shown in picture below .
User has option to Edit the existing data , for editing the existing partition master data goto master select warehouse click on partition option now click on report button, then select warehouse name then select location selection of Rack is optional now click on getdata now click on edit button of the row which you want to edit a pop up will open now make the changes and click on save button your data will be updated.
How to change the partition of the current pallet.
To change the partition of the current pallet user has to open the pallet mater report and select the warehouse ,location nad rack in click on get data button from will filled with data look at the Current Pallet Column now click on the row in which you want to change the partiton of the pallet as shown in picture below.
After selecting the Pallet hit the tab button you will get the confirmation message that Are you sure you want to change the pallet location as hown in picture below.
Now click on Yes button of the confimation dialogue box now you will get the message of save sucessfully means pallet location has been saved sucessfully, as shown in picture below.
If user try to save the pallet which has already saved against any partition name then it will set the perivious patrtition to NA and that pallet will be saved against new Partition.
Open the partition report then select the required fields and click on get data button form will filled with data npow try to save the pallet which is already saved against any partition name as shown in picture below.
Now hit the tab button the you will get a confrimation message that you want to save the data or not after clicking on yes button again a confirmation will come with message Pallet already exists on Partition 1C do you want to change tha location? , click on yes then you will see that data will be saved as shown in picture below.
Now open the report again and you will notice that the values of pallet has been changed against partition 1C and 1D, as shown in picture below
User has option to see the box details to see the box details open the pallet master report and make the selection of required fileds and click on get data button now click on box details link and a pop up window will open withbox details as shown in picture below
