For Creating the New Item First we have to understand the Item (Is Primary or Secondary). A Primary item or those Item Whose contain sub Item in It. Where as secondary item are the raw Item. For more detail please see the Below Image

Now Enter the basic details.While Creating the Item the FG item user select the Item is a primary type.
- Enter the Unique Item Code if Item code already Exists then show error message
- Enter the Unique Item name .
- Select Item Type FG (Finished Good), RM (Raw Material),PM ( Packaging Material) and then Select the Brand , Group and Category input field from the drop down list.
- Enter MRP Description, Barcode etc.
- If User enter some value in Expiry in moth Input field . then this value will calculate the Item Aging( means it will effect a report in which system display the Data of those item who is going to be expired in near future.
- Enter Box Qty. This means how many Item can be put into a box. Or we can say these item are the smallest Qty that can move from one section to another section.
- Pallet Box Nos. : It is how many boxes of this item we can put on to a single Pallet( A Platform on which boxes were kept . used in warehouse).
- Box weight: It is very important field because it is the standard weight of box which contain this Item. and it is used for Measuring each box weight. In warehouse.
- Tolerance %: this field is used for box weight measurement purpose. Like if a Box Standard weight is 10 KG(10000 Gram) and We set 1 % tolerance(equal to 100 Gram) those boxes are standard box whose Box weight in range between 9900 to 10100.
- Boxes Dimension are the Dimension of the Boxes in which we put the this Item.
